Spodopro

Spodopro is a protein-free medium for an optimized growth of insect cells such as Sf9 and Sf21 (Spodoptera frugiperda) in suspension culture. Insect cells are often used for the industrial production of recombinant proteins.

Spodopro is suitable for the cultivation of insect cells and the production of recombinant proteins (Baculovirus expression vector system, BEVS).
